Pricecheck Toiletries Limited is offering an IT Assistant apprenticeship (Level 3) based in Sheffield. You will support day-to-day IT operations, maintain servers, troubleshoot issues, and provide frontline help to colleagues, working closely with our IT team.

As part of the apprenticeship you’ll attend online classroom sessions via MS Teams one day per week at Sheffield College, with potential for permanent employment after successful completion.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolling in an IT apprenticeship at Level 3.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop IT operational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to the wider Pricecheck team and manage Fresh Service tickets.
• Prioritise, progress and monitor IT incidents to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with departments to implement IT solutions and provide diverse support.
• Troubleshoot desktop/laptop/printer/application issues and basic network/server problems.
• Set up new user accounts and manage access and password issues.
• Maintain systems with daily, weekly and quarterly checks.
• Provide documentation and reports for IT processes.
• Assist with rollout of new applications.
