Back To Work in North Yorkshire is recruiting an IT & Networking Apprentice to support users, set up devices, and assist with network installations while training for a recognised qualification. You will work with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience across Microsoft 365 apps and helpdesk processes.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; apprenticeship pathway with training provided.
• Strong desire to help customers and learn IT concepts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly support to customers via phone, email and remote tools.
• Assist users with common IT issues and queries.
• Set up laptops, desktops, monitors and mobile devices.
• Assist with network installations and connectivity checks.
• Learn how business Wi‑Fi, internet and network equipment operate.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Log customer issues in the helpdesk system.
• Work with senior engineers on customer projects.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Learn industry-standard technologies and best practices.
