Job summary

BDR Voice and Data Solutions Ltd in Stratford-upon-Avon offers an ICT Level 3 Apprentice role in the First Line Incident Management Team. You’ll gain hands-on IT experience while training toward a recognised qualification, diagnosing and resolving issues and escalating when needed.

No prior IT experience is required; full training is provided. You’ll handle incidents via phone, email and ticketing systems, log details, and communicate progress clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• Interest in IT, networking and telecoms.
• Good communication and polite phone manner.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback.
• Basic IT knowledge (Windows, hardware, networking).

Responsibilities

• Acting as first-line support for incidents via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Logging, categorising and prioritising incidents.
• Providing basic technical support for IT systems, hardware, networks and voice/telephony.
• Troubleshooting with knowledge bases and senior guidance.
• Escalating unresolved incidents to higher tiers when required.
• Communicating progress clearly to customers.
• Maintaining documentation and ticket notes.
• Supporting general IT and operational tasks.
