Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager – New Business (IoT Connectivity) to drive new logo acquisition in the UK market. This hybrid role places you in charge of identifying opportunities, shaping strategy and closing enterprise deals with senior decision-makers.

You will collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, manage a multi-touch pipeline, and hand over secured accounts to Account Development for long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Proven hunter sales track record; 7+ years preferred.
• IoT solution experience is a plus.
• Strong strategic planning and territory management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Resilience, autonomy, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new logos within the UK IoT market.
• Develop a multi-touch prospecting strategy to grow your pipeline.
• Lead consultative sales conversations with senior stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close enterprise deals, with multi-month cycles.
• Collaborate with Marketing on events, webinars and campaigns to create opportunities.
• Hand over won business to the Account Development team for long-term success.
