A cultural organization in Scotland is seeking freelance digital specialists to support museums in developing digital content and marketing strategies. The Space

We’re looking for freelance digital specialists to support The Space and Museums and Heritage Highland in working with 9 museums on a new project consisting of a series of digital content commissions, marketing audits, pilot audience development projects and digital upskilling of museum staff and volunteers.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from applicants based in Scotland with experience in marketing, audience development, digital content strategy, content creation, production and project management in the heritage and cultural sectors.
The project is an ambitious 18‑month programme of digital development supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, designed to build digital capacity in the rural heritage sector.

As part of the application process, applicants are required to submit their day rate. Pay will be above National Living Wage. Up to £50,000 is budgeted across the planned freelance contracts. Contracts will specify the agreed number of days, daily rate to be paid, outputs required, timetable for delivery, any review or other reporting milestones.
