Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel in Bristol is seeking a dynamic Freight Account Manager to join our International Road Logistics team. You will manage full account responsibilities from telesales through to delivery, driving profit growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates bring proven telesales or outbound sales experience, a track record of meeting targets, and a valid driving license. Logistics experience is welcome but not essential; join a global leader shaping global commerce.

Qualifications

• Experience in proactive telesales or cold-calling sales role.
• Logistics experience is beneficial but not required.
• Experience generating your own sales leads.
• Experience working to targets and KPIs.
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C+ (or equivalent).
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Generate new prospect leads and new accounts over the telephone and face‑to‑face.
• Conduct telesales, face‑to‑face selling (B2B), negotiations, and presentations.
• Consistently grow gross profit and achieve the targets set in the Account Manager Scheme.
• Achieve sales productivity and revenue targets.
• Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
• Provide customers with accurate and cost‑effective quotations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales activity reports as instructed by the Branch Manager.
