Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel is recruiting a Freight Account Manager in the United Kingdom to drive new business within our International Road Logistics team. You will manage end-to-end sales from telesales to delivery, focusing on growing profit through exceptional customer management.

Ideal candidates will have telesales experience, a drive to win new accounts, and the ability to tailor logistics solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in proactive telesales or cold-calling sales.
• Logistics experience is beneficial but not required.
• Experience generating own sales leads.
• Experience working to targets and KPIs.
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above.
• Strong administration and organisation skills.
• Ability to influence others.
• Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Generate new prospect leads and accounts via telephone and face-to-face.
• Telesales, face-to-face selling (B2B), negotiations and presentations.
• Grow gross profit and achieve targets and KPIs.
• Provide high level of customer care and accurate quotations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales activity reports as instructed by the Branch Manager.
