Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel is seeking a dynamic Freight Account Manager to join its International Road Logistics team in the UK. The role focuses on generating new business, promoting freight services to potential clients and existing customers, and managing accounts from telesales through to delivery with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have proven telesales experience, a drive to exceed targets, and the ability to build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven telesales or cold calling experience in a proactive sales role.
• Experience with outbound sales and generating own leads.
• Able to work to targets and KPIs.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
• Full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Generate new leads and accounts via telephone and in person.
• Sell B2B freight services and handle negotiations and presentations.
• Drive gross profit and hit sales targets.
• Provide high levels of customer care and accurate quotations.
• Prepare regular sales activity reports.
• Manage end-to-end account responsibilities from telesales to delivery.
