Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel in the UK is seeking a proactive Freight Account Manager to drive new business and manage client relationships within International Road Logistics. You will win new accounts and deliver high-quality service from telesales to delivery.

The role rewards drive, targets and strong customer focus, with emphasis on proactive lead generation, quotations, and account growth. A full UK driving licence is required and a company car may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in proactive telesales or cold calling sales role.
• Logistics experience beneficial but not required.
• Experience generating own sales leads.
• Experience working to targets and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Generate new prospect leads and accounts via telephone and in person.
• Telesales, face-to-face selling (B2B), negotiations and presentations.
• Grow gross profit and achieve account targets.
• Achieve sales productivity and revenue targets.
• Provide high level internal and external customer care.
• Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales activity figures.
