KPI Recruitment is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive in Winsford, offering a clear development pathway into a Technical Sales position. You will join a friendly team, handling inbound enquiries, preparing quotations, and driving orders from start to finish in a busy sales environment.

This role provides the chance to develop product knowledge, commercial skills and technical understanding with strong training and support to help you progress within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous internal sales or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and telephone manner.
• Good IT and Office suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotations and proactively follow up enquiries to convert them into orders.
• Resolve customer queries and issues quickly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
• Create stock codes, calculate pricing and manage discount structures.
• Communicate delivery expectations and manage order fulfilment.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through excellent service.
• Prepare marketing materials and support promotional activities.
• Take card payments and process customer returns in line with company procedures.
• Develop strong product knowledge with a view to progressing into a Technical Sales role.
