Job summary

Stafforce Recruitment seeks a Technical Internal Sales Executive for our client in Daventry. This office-based role focuses on handling enquiries, preparing quotations and processing orders from initial enquiry through to delivery.

You will build product knowledge across consumables and related equipment, while developing into a more technical, product-led role. Structured training and a long-term growth path are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales or customer-facing roles.
• Confident telephone manner and clear written communication.
• Organised and able to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
• Interest in engineering, manufacturing, plastics or technical products is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer enquiries by phone, email and live chat in a professional and helpful manner.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up with customers to progress opportunities.
• Process customer orders accurately and monitor them through to delivery.
• Develop detailed product knowledge across consumables, ancillaries and related technical equipment.
• Work with purchasing and technical colleagues to source products and identify suitable solutions for customer projects.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, quotations and orders using Microsoft Business Central.
• Build trusted customer relationships by understanding requirements and recommending appropriate products.
• Support the wider sales and technical team on larger, more complex or bespoke enquiries.
