Job summary

Aspion has an opportunity for an Internal Sales / Account Manager in Swanley. The role focuses on managing key customer accounts, generating quotations, processing orders and driving sales growth in a fast-paced industrial environment.

You will nurture long-term customer relationships, identify opportunities for upselling, and work closely with sales, purchasing and warehouse teams to maximise margin and service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Sales, Account Management or Sales Support.
• Experience in metal stockholding, engineering, manufacturing, or technical sales environments is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, driven and customer-focused approach.
• Experience using CRM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
• Building strong relationships with customers across engineering, manufacturing, fabrication and industrial sectors.
• Preparing quotations and following up opportunities to secure business.
• Processing customer orders and coordinating with operations to ensure service levels.
• Negotiating pricing and commercial agreements.
• Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products.
• Working closely with external sales, purchasing and warehouse teams.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and customer information.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the sales process.
