Job summary

Aspion in Plymouth is seeking an Internal Sales Account Manager to build relationships with existing customers and win new business in the metals sector. The role focuses on delivering accurate quotations and responsive service, with salary negotiable depending on experience and hours Monday to Friday.

You will liaise with internal teams to ensure orders are processed to customers' requirements, maintain up-to-date sales data, and stay informed about market conditions and competitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales/account management role.
• Metal industry experience desirable.
• Confident telephone and email communication.
• Commercial awareness with strong customer service focus.
• Proactive, resilient and target-driven.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customers.
• Identify new business opportunities.
• Handle sales enquiries and provide quotations.
• Increase sales across existing accounts.
• Follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise conversions.
• Work with customers to understand requirements and provide products and solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to process orders and meet delivery needs.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the system.
• Keep up to date with market conditions, pricing and competitor activity.
