Job summary

The Best Connection in West Bromwich is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join a busy, customer-focused team. You will manage orders, use CRM/ERP (Salesforce and Infor), build strong customer relationships and support the external sales team.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) required.
• Strong IT skills including intermediate-level Word and Excel.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Infor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer orders and monitoring progress through to dispatch.
• Using CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce and Infor) to manage orders, inventory checks, customer interactions, credits, and debits.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, external sales teams, and transport providers.
• Responding to customer enquiries regarding stock availability, pricing, discounts, and providing first-line technical support where appropriate.
• Proactively contacting customers to generate sales opportunities, including re-engaging inactive accounts and promoting current offers.
• Preparing and issuing customer quotations.
• Supporting the external sales team with account information, quotations, and customer updates.
• Organising transport arrangements for non-standard deliveries.
• Monitoring deliveries and resolving any issues efficiently, escalating where necessary.
• Liaising with internal departments regarding manufacturing, assembly, and product-related queries.
• Providing administrative support to the wider UK team.
• Undertaking additional duties as required to support business operations.
