Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive for their West Bromwich operation. The role focuses on supporting customers, driving sales, and handling orders through CRM and ERP systems, including Salesforce and Infor.

You will build strong relationships, manage stock inquiries, and help the external sales team while coordinating transport for deliveries. The position requires GCSEs, solid IT skills, standout communication, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong IT skills including Word and Excel.
• CRM experience with Salesforce or Infor is desirable.
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
• Previous office administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and monitor progress to dispatch.
• Use CRM/ERP systems to manage orders, inventory checks, and customer interactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, external sales teams and transport providers.
• Respond to inquiries on stock, pricing, discounts, and provide first-line technical support.
• Proactively generate sales opportunities and re-engage inactive accounts.
• Prepare and issue customer quotations.
• Support external sales with account info, quotations and updates.
• Organise transport for non-standard deliveries.
• Monitor deliveries and resolve issues, escalating as needed.
• Liaise with manufacturing, assembly and product queries.
• Provide administrative support to the UK team.
• Undertake additional duties to support operations.
