Job summary

JobsTrackR in Darwen is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join a leading national distributor. This is a stable, long‑term role with great benefits and a friendly, supportive team.

Ideal candidates have builders' merchant or trade sales backgrounds. You will develop accounts, manage quotes, and coordinate with warehouse and distribution to meet customer needs while maintaining professional communication.

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record, ideally in internal sales or trade environments.
• Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets (value, volume, and margin) for designated area(s).
• Develop new accounts and nurture long-term client relationships.
• Maintain professional communication via phone and email.
• Manage the sales order process from start to finish.
• Generate accurate quotes using pricing tools and CRM.
• Provide regular sales reports and assist with stock purchasing.
• Work closely with Warehouse & Distribution to meet customer expectations.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to branch success.
• Support a culture of safety and efficiency in both office and warehouse settings.
