Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to support our Newcastle team. You’ll be the first point of contact for customer accounts, manage enquiries, process orders, and work closely with Sales Executives to keep orders moving.

With 12 months in sales coordination and experience with CRM systems (MS Dynamics) and Microsoft Office, you’ll help revive lapsed accounts and spot upsell opportunities while delivering top‑notch service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a sales coordination, administration, or support role.
• Proven track record in handling customer enquiries and outbound calls in a phone-based environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a friendly, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Supporting sales growth by managing and streamlining order progression and customer communications.
• Using our CRM system (MS Dynamics) to track leads, update customer records, and monitor sales activity.
• Proactively contacting lapsed or underutilised accounts to unlock opportunities for up‑selling and cross‑selling.
• Collaborating with Sales Executives, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Handling customer enquiries and processing orders with precision to maintain service excellence.
