Job summary

Andrews Sykes Group PLC in Manchester is seeking a proactive Telesales professional to generate leads and secure orders, coordinate with internal and external sales teams, and manage quotations for hire and sales. You will handle invoicing and sales administration for Thames Water and participate in meetings and training to support the business.

The role requires experience in the hire industry, strong telephone service, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hire industry and similar contact centre type role.
• Experience in dealing with variety of customers over the phone.
• Self- motivated team player.
• Able to deliver a high level of customer service/satisfaction.
• Good MS Office knowledge, i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Able to work calmly under pressure.
• Resolve problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Telesales: Generating leads and directly securing orders.
• Sales Coordination: Managing activities and schedules between internal and external sales teams.
• Quotation Management: Following up on and converting hire and sales quotations, as well as contacting “off-hirers” .
• Invoicing and Administration: Handling sales administration and invoicing specifically for Thames Water .
• General Responsibilities: Participating in meetings, training, and other duties required to support the business .
