Job summary

Andrews Sykes Group PLC, the UK's leading specialist hire company, is seeking a driven Telesales professional to join our sales team in the West Midlands. You will proactively generate sales leads from existing and dormant accounts, manage quotations, and help convert opportunities over the phone.

The role demands a confident communicator, good numeracy to protect profitability, and a strong commitment to outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ telesales experience.
Experience in hire industry and contact centre roles.
Experience dealing with customers over the phone.
Self-motivated team player.
Delivers high level of customer service.
Good MS Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Excellent telephone manner.
Works calmly under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Proactively generate sales leads from existing and dormant accounts.
Make targeted outbound calls to create qualified leads for the External Sales Team.
Raise and send quotations to clients and follow up to convert to orders.
Contact off-hirers and secure forward work.
Process sales administration and invoicing accurately and timely.
Ensure quotations cover all costs to meet profitability objectives.
Maintain correct authorization records with customers for all supplies.
