Job summary

Andrews Sykes Group PLC is looking for an Internal Sales Agent at our Charlton depot to drive sales opportunities, nurture client relationships and deliver outstanding service.

You’ll manage quotations, follow up enquiries, and handle incoming calls and emails, coordinating activities with colleagues. This varied role blends sales, customer service and admin in a busy, rewarding environment for a proactive communicator with solid IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working within the hire industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Good IT and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Raising and processing quotations for customers
• Following up quotations and converting enquiries into orders
• Answering incoming customer calls and emails
• Conducting proactive sales and campaign calls
• Coordinating internal and external sales activities
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Managing off-hire enquiries and customer communications
• Providing general sales administration support
• Supporting local marketing and business development activities
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times
