VMD Studio is seeking an Interior Design Assistant to join our team and support residential interior projects in the UK and Europe.

This role is suited for an interior design or architecture graduate, junior designer, or someone at the beginning of their professional career who wants to grow within a structured studio environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting interior design projects under the guidance of the Creative Director
• Building SketchUp models based on approved concepts
• Assisting with concept development and space planning
• Preparing materials for visualisations and presentations
• Supporting installations and on-site tasks when required
• Assisting with sourcing, organisation and internal project tasks
• Using digital and AI tools to support research and workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field
• Confident use of SketchUp
• Basic understanding of technical drawings
• Strong sense of style, proportions and spatial awareness
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Russian language proficiency (spoken and written)
• Willingness to learn and work within a structured process

Nice to have

• Interest in AI and digital tools for design and research
• Previous experience assisting on interior projects
