A leading Energy organisation seeks an Interim Procurement Advisor to support the development and implementation of Procurement systems in the Oil & Gas sector. This 12-month role includes functional support for system implementation, shaping procurement processes, and developing training. The ideal candidate has experience in deploying Procurement systems like SAP and a strong grasp of procurement policies. This position is hybrid based in South-East England.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and deploying Procurement systems such as P2P.
• Strong understanding of Procurement policy and processes.
• Procurement experience, particularly in the Oil & Gas industry.

Role: Interim Procurement Advisor - Systems and Processes

Client: Leading Energy organisation

Duration: 12 months

Location: South-East England (60/40 hybrid)

A Procurement Advisor to join a world‑leader in Oil & Gas, in a key role for the development and implementation of Procurement and connected systems, and the associated procedures.

This role will provide Procurement functional support for system identification, implementation and optimisation, shaping procurement processes with a focus on control points and monitoring.

You will develop and deliver training, carry our reporting for Procurement, Contracts and Compliance.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience developing and deploying Procurement systems, e.g. P2P (Purchase to Pay) systems (SAP, Maximo, Oracle, or Dynamics), e‑sourcing systems (Ariba OneSource) and Supplier Management systems (Avetta).
• Strong understanding of Procurement policy and processes.
• Procurement/supply chain experience, including experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in Procurement Analytics and developing clear management information.
