About Our Client

PageGroup is delighted to support a highly successful manufacturing and distribution company based in Walsall with the appointment of an Interim HR Business Partner for a 5-6 month interim contract. This role offers hybrid working of 3-4 days in the office per week.

Job Description

The Interim HR Business Partner will work as part of a small HR team, reporting to an HR Director. This is a varied and generalist role, supporting both operational and strategic HR matters. The role involves partnering with various Head Office functions within this manufacturing/distribution business, including but not limited to:

  • Providing expert advice on employee relations casework
  • Coaching and mentoring line managers on people matters
  • Mentoring and supporting the development of junior HR team members
  • Deputising for HR management/leadership when needed, attending SLT meetings, etc.
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Managing HR projects and initiatives
  • Supporting the HR Director to embed the people strategy
The Successful Applicant

Ideal candidates will have a proven HR generalist background and be comfortable handling both operational and strategic issues. You should be qualified to CIPD level 5 or 7. Candidates must be able to start on short notice and commit to a 5-6 month interim assignment.
