What You Will Deliver (Key Focus):
  • FRA Remediation: Oversee and accelerate the effective completion of all actions arising from Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), tracking progress rigorously.
  • Compliance: Ensure absolute compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and related legislation, including the Fire Safety Act 2021.
  • Inspections & Audits: Manage a robust program of fire safety inspections, audits, and checks (e.g., compartmentation surveys, fire door inspections).
  • Technical Advice: Provide expert, pragmatic guidance on fire safety issues to maintenance teams, capital works, and asset management.
You Must Have:
  • Social Housing/Residential Experience in a dedicated Fire Safety Management role.
  • Expert knowledge of the FSO 2005 and related UK fire safety standards (e.g., BS 9991, Approved Document B).
  • Proven success in managing large-scale FRA remediation programmes.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Membership of the IFE, NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management).
