Job summary

NFU Mutual is seeking an Insurance Customer Service Adviser in Truro. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling sales inquiries, policy changes, and claims with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £24,000 plus bonus, a 35-hour week, and full training. You will work Monday to Friday in our Truro office, developing product knowledge across NFU Mutual General Insurance offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar customer service role.
• Excellent telephone manner and strong customer focus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with MS Dynamics desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle new sales enquiries, policy changes, and claims by phone.
• Prepare files, reports and renewal documentation.
• Assist customers visiting the office and respond to inquiries.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote NFU Mutual products.
• Maintain compliance and high standards in all customer instructions.
