Job summary

NFU Mutual is seeking a Claims Handler and Customer Service Advisor in Bridgnorth. The role combines claims handling with customer service duties, working Monday to Friday in a permanent, full-time position at the local NFU Mutual office.

You will manage claims end-to-end, keeping customers informed and coordinating with loss adjusters and internal teams to ensure timely resolutions while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling customer inquiries with professional communication.
• Experience delivering accurate work and maintaining records.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance claims from first notification to settlement.
• Be main point of contact for customers with updates and guidance.
• Review and investigate claims; gather information and documentation.
• Liaise with claims teams, loss adjusters, suppliers and other parties.
• Monitor progress and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Maintain accurate claims records and related administration.
• Handle customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
