Job summary

NFU Mutual is seeking an Insurance Customer Service Adviser at our Liskeard office in the South West. You will handle new sales enquiries, policy changes, and claims with a proactive approach.

The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm, offering a salary up to £24,000 plus bonus and a contributory pension scheme. Full training provided and chances for progression.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone manner and willingness to go above and beyond to deliver first-class customer experience.
• Able to communicate effectively, written and verbal.
• Familiar with MS Office; exposure to MS Dynamics desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administration: prepare files and reports.
• Process and dispatch renewal documentation.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone.
• Support customers visiting the office.
• Identify and call prospects to offer NFU Mutual products.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of NFU Mutual General Insurance products.
• Advise customers on general insurance requirements.
• Cross-sell opportunities to new/existing customers.
• Administer customer instructions to completion/compliance.
• Produce correspondence within required timeframes/quality standards.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers and staff.
