Installation Trainee: Home Appliance Installer

Job summary

John Lewis & Partners is seeking Installation Trainees to train as accredited home installation specialists. You will join a two-person delivery crew, driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle and installing products at customers' homes, such as furniture and appliances.

Heavy lifting is part of the role, and you must be 18+ years old. Training is provided in a Customer Delivery Hub, with support from a skilled team, and opportunities to work with the renowned John Lewis service at customers’ doors.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• DCPC or Driver Qualification Card required by day one.
• Tachograph Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with excellent customer service.
• Assist loading deliveries with the warehouse team.
• Handle situations to find best solutions for customers and respect customer homes.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate operation to customers.
• Keep up to date with new products and technologies to perform at your best.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
