Job summary

Quickline is seeking an Installation Engineer to connect rural communities to superfast broadband. The role involves on-site work, liaising with customers on installation routes and outcomes, and maintaining high-quality installations with safety at the forefront.

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role, understands FTTP and FWA connections, can climb ladders, and holds a full clean driving licence. DBS check is a requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with FTTP/FWA knowledge preferred.
• Customer-facing installation experience.
• Ability to work at heights and on ladders.
• Full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high installation quality at customer premises.
• Liaise with customers on installation route and appearance.
• Manage safe working environment and health & safety.
• Conduct installation surveys and explore options to deliver service.
• Document installed equipment information and capture installation images for records.
• Provide excellent customer communications and exceed expectations.

• Maintain a high quality standard of installation both internally and externally at our customers premises.
• Liaise with customers regarding the intended installation route and how the finished installation will look.

• Carry out installation surveys competently and consider all options to deliver service.
• Document all installed equipment information and capture images of the installation for infrastructure records, support team use and our quality process.

• You have experience in a similar role - Ideally with an understanding of FTTP and FWA connections.
• You are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders is no problem for you.
• Customer care comes second nature to you.
