Job summary

Quickline is seeking an Installation Engineer to connect rural communities to superfast broadband. You’ll install equipment at customer premises, discuss installation routes, and document the work for infrastructure records.

You’ll need a full driving licence, be comfortable working at heights, and maintain a strong focus on customer care. This role offers a benefits package and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar installation role, preferably with FTTP or FWA.
• Ability to work at heights and handle ladders safely.
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication.
• Full clean driving licence and DBS check obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality installation standards at customer premises.
• Liaise with customers about installation routes and final appearance.
• Ensure a safe working environment with focus on health and safety.
• Perform installation surveys and consider delivery options.
• Document installed equipment details and capture installation photos.
• Provide excellent customer communications and aim to exceed expectations.

• Maintain a high quality standard of installation both internally and externally at our customers premises.
• Liaise with customers regarding the intended installation route and how the finished installation will look.

• Carry out installation surveys competently and consider all options to deliver service.
• Document all installed equipment information and capture images of the installation for infrastructure records, support team use and our quality process.
• Provide excellent levels of customer communications and strive to exceed expectations.

Here’s why you’ll be great in this role…

• You have experience in a similar role - Ideally with an understanding of FTTP and FWA connections.
• You are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders is no problem for you.
• Customer care comes second nature to you.
• You have a full clean driving licence and can successfully pass a DBS check.
