Horizon Care and Education Group seeks a dedicated SENCO for Bushbury School in Wolverhampton. You will lead SEN provision, collaborate with school leadership, and ensure high-quality teaching and learning for pupils with Autism and SLCN.

The role requires SENCO qualification or nearing completion and QTS status, with experience coordinating SEND and SEMH strategies across local authorities. Strong leadership, communication, and commitment to student outcomes are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have SENCO qualification or be close to completing.
• Must have QTS status.
• Experience working with local authorities is desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Solid understanding of SEND Code of Practice and SEMH.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop SEN provision within Bushbury School.
• Collaborate with Headteacher and Educational Leadership to achieve outcomes for pupils with SEN/SEMH.
• Oversee assessment, planning, and review of SEN support and EHCP processes.
• Engage with local authorities and families to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
