Horizon Care and Education Group seeks a dedicated SENCO for Bushbury School in Wolverhampton. You will lead SEN provision, collaborate with school leadership, and ensure high-quality teaching and learning for pupils with Autism and SLCN.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee assessment, planning, and review of SEN support and EHCP processes.
• Engage with local authorities and families to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

Bushbury School is a specialist school for pupils aged 7-19 with Autism and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN).

Based in Wolverhampton, the school has been thoughtfully designed and renovated to the highest standards, providing bright, modern learning spaces that inspire and engage. The school features safe, multifunctional co-regulation spaces and a beautiful sensory garden designed to enrich students’ learning experiences.

We provide a holistic, bespoke curriculum with rich learning opportunities that enable young people to develop their functional life skills in order to experience a high quality of life.

We are looking forward to opening the school and the Headteacher Johanna is eager to get started!
