Job summary

Penn Fields School in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced SENCo / Lead Practitioner to drive educational provision for students with a range of SEND. This role carries UPS progression with TLR2b and SEN1 points, and requires a committed and inspirational teacher with leadership experience to lead in SENCo duties and school improvement.

You will work with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching, always safeguarding, and contribute to developing inclusive practice across the all-age 5-19

Qualifications

• Experienced teacher with subject lead and management experience.
• Committed, inspirational and dedicated to safeguarding and high-quality provision.
• Ability to lead in SENCo responsibilities and develop practice across the school.

Responsibilities

• Lead provision for students with SEND and coordinate Educational Health & Care Plans.
• Attend and chair meetings with professionals and stakeholders to implement appropriate provision.
• Collaborate with staff to sustain high-quality teaching and learning for all pupils.
