Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is assisting a Hayes secondary school in West London to recruit an experienced SENCO to lead SEND provision and drive inclusion. You will work with staff, parents and external agencies to ensure tailored support for students to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience coordinating SEND.
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
• Proven leadership in SEND and ability to develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the school's SEND provision in line with statutory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and monitor students with SEND; implement interventions.
• Coordinate and review EHCPs.
• Support teachers in adapting teaching strategies and resources.
• Manage and develop a team of Learning Support Assistants and SEND staff.
• Liaise with parents, local authorities and external professionals.
• Monitor progress and use data to drive SEND improvements.
• Promote an inclusive curriculum and school culture.
