Job summary

Baston House School in Bromley is seeking an inspirational SEN Teacher to join our specialist team. You will deliver highly personalised learning and help pupils with SEND achieve academic, social and emotional progress in a safe, supportive environment.

As part of Outcomes First Group, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to foster independence and confidence, delivering engaging lessons and contributing to pupil reviews and enrichment activities.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND or strong commitment to specialist education.
• Ability to deliver inclusive, differentiated lessons for diverse learning needs.
• Skilled at building positive relationships and supporting wellbeing.
• Thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
• Aspirations to develop curriculum leadership or lead a subject area.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalised lessons meeting individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to ensure all pupils access learning.
• Monitor progress and use evidence to inform teaching practice.
• Create nurturing, structured learning environments.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Collaborate with therapists, families and external professionals.
• Contribute to annual reviews, progress meetings and reports.
• Engage in enrichment activities and school events.
