Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an Access Assistant to join the Inpatient Access team at Manor Hospital. You will provide a centralised bookings service for theatre sessions, ensuring bookings align with local and national access targets.

You will plan and prioritise your workload with support from the Inpatient Access Supervisor and Elective Access Manager, using the Patient Administration System to keep operations smooth and efficient.

• You must have effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Patient Administration System is vital.
• Ability to work calmly in a busy environment and multi-task.
