Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Elective Access Co-coordinator to join the team at Manor Hospital, Walsall. The post is 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis, with responsibility for maximising clinic utilisation and delivering a centralised outpatient booking service.

You will work within the Access Team and Call Centre environment, using Careflow and e-RS systems, with a focus on delivering efficient capacity and demand management and supporting team leaders with

Qualifications

• GCSE Math and English or NVQ level 2 is required.
• Experience of using Hospital patient management systems (Lorenzo) is required.
• Experience with health and safety procedures is desirable.
• Experience with e-scription is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maximise clinic utilisation across the trust by monitoring capacity and demand.
• Process scheduling requests in a timely manner.
• Book patients in line with local and national access targets for Cancer and Referral to Treatment standards.
• Provide a centralised booking service for Outpatient Clinics ensuring KPI targets are met.
• Support team leaders with IPDRs and training sessions.
