About the Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturer specialising in precision injection moulded components, serving industries such as automotive, medical, and consumer products. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Toolmaker to join their skilled team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture, repair, and maintain injection mould tools to precise specifications.
  • Operate and set conventional and CNC machinery including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM.
  • Support new tool trials, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure tooling performs efficiently and meets production standards.
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues and identify solutions to improve reliability and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of tooling maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Time-served Toolmaker or equivalent engineering qualification.
  • Proven experience in injection mould toolmaking or precision engineering.
  • Strong understanding of tool design, materials, and machining principles.
  • Competence with CNC and manual machining equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
