Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to making a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical work to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Assign tickets to technical support, field engineers, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management activities, liaising with providers, regional control, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Who you are:

You have prior experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
