Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Nottingham

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions that impact critical infrastructure. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex, essential tasks that keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

Role Overview:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to support teams and service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Collaborate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills for liaising at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
