Job Description:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved according to procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  • Communicate incident updates to customers.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Who You Are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
