Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Associate Director – Infrastructure Planning to lead major national infrastructure planning and consenting projects across the UK. You will provide strategic planning, EIA advice and manage complex projects while fostering strong client relationships.

The role offers leadership across a multidisciplinary team, opportunities to mentor colleagues and contribute to growth in the UK & Ireland infrastructure planning capability.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualification or equivalent with significant infrastructure planning experience.
• Proven track record leading and managing complex planning projects including DCOs or major regimes.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning and infrastructure consenting landscape.
• Experience mentoring or leading other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and consenting elements of major infrastructure projects including DCOs.
• Provide strategic planning, consenting and EIA advice across the project lifecycle.
• Manage complex projects ensuring delivery to programme, budget and quality.
• Build strong client relationships and support business development.
• Lead project teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues.
