Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Associate Director to lead infrastructure planning and consenting for high-profile UK projects, spanning NSIPs, DCOs and DNS regimes. You will steer strategic planning, EIA advice and client engagement across a national portfolio.

The role demands senior leadership, a strong track record in major infrastructure projects, and the ability to develop client relationships while growing the UK Infrastructure Planning team.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualification or equivalent, with significant experience in major infrastructure planning, consenting or energy projects.
• Proven track record of leading and managing complex planning projects, including DCOs or other major infrastructure consenting regimes.
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning and infrastructure consenting landscape.

Responsibilities

• Leading the planning and consenting elements of major infrastructure projects, including DCOs and other relevant regimes.
• Providing strategic planning, consenting and EIA advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing complex planning projects to deliver on time, budget and quality.
