Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Associate Director – Infrastructure Planning in the UK to lead major infrastructure projects, including DCOs, and to drive strategic planning and consenting across the portfolio.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, mentor colleagues and develop strong client relationships, while supporting the continued growth of our national Infrastructure Planning capability across the UK & Ireland.

Qualifications

• Qualified MRTPI or equivalent with substantial infrastructure planning experience.
• Proven track record leading and delivering complex planning projects including DCOs.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning and infrastructure consenting landscape.
• Experience in providing strategic planning and consenting advice to clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and consenting elements of major infrastructure projects, including DCOs.
• Provide strategic planning, consenting and EIA advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage complex planning projects to programme, budget and quality.
• Act as a trusted adviser and develop long-term client relationships.
• Lead project teams and collaborate across planning, EIA and other disciplines.
• Support business development and contribute to client presentations.
