Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Associate Director in Infrastructure Planning to lead major UK projects, provide strategic planning and consenting guidance, and develop client relationships across NSIPs and related schemes.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the growth of our national Infrastructure Planning capability while embracing a hybrid working approach.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualification with significant infrastructure planning experience.
• Proven track record leading major infrastructure projects and DCOs.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and consenting regimes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and consenting elements of major projects (DCOs and regimes).
• Provide strategic planning, consenting and EIA advice throughout lifecycle.
• Manage complex projects to programme, budget and quality.
• Build trusted client relationships and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Support business development with proposals and client presentations.
• Mentor colleagues and stay updated on planning policy changes.
• Travel nationally to support projects as required.
