We’re supporting a globally respected, mission-driven education charity in the search for an experienced IT & Technology Business Partner to join their collaborative team.

This organisation plays a key role in shaping the future of education through evidence, insight, and innovation. As part of their IT and Digital function, you’ll help design and deliver solutions that strengthen internal systems, enhance user experience, and support impactful work across the organisation.

The Role

As an IT & Technology Business Partner, you’ll be the bridge between technology and the wider business — ensuring digital solutions truly meet organisational needs. You’ll work closely with operational teams, senior leadership, and external partners to shape digital roadmaps, optimise systems, and deliver secure, efficient, and resilient technologies.

There will be significant opportunity to take on innovation led projects including AI focused initiatives to enhance the business across all areas.

You’ll also take the lead in planning delivery activity, building business cases, driving adoption, and ensuring that live systems remain robust and fit-for-purpose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and collaborate with colleagues across Technology and Operations to shape effective technical and digital solutions.
  • Support the Chief Digital Officer with digital strategy development and portfolio / investment planning.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery, ensuring projects meet requirements, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Lead adoption and change activity, including training, communication, and readiness planning.
  • Monitor risks and service issues, ensuring continuity and an excellent user experience.
  • Track progress, benefits and lessons learned, reporting clearly to key stakeholders.
About You

You’ll bring a strong blend of technical understanding, relationship-building, and delivery expertise. Ideal for those with experience in education, edtech, not-for-profit or third-sector organisations , but applicants from other mission-driven settings are also encouraged.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (Power Platform, Business Central), CMS, Project Management systems, Master Data Management and AI tools.
  • A proven track record in programme and project delivery (waterfall & agile).
  • Demonstrated experience in an IT / Technology role with business partnering responsibilities.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and the ability to translate business needs into workable options.
  • Confidence in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication and influencing.

This is an excellent opportunity to shape digital capability within a purpose-led education charity while developing your strategic, technical, and leadership skills.
