Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. is hiring a Field Sales Engineer to drive growth across the south of the UK, selling compressed air, nitrogen generation and related industrial equipment to construction, manufacturing, marine, mining and heavy industry.

You will spend about 80% of your time winning new business, with the remainder developing an established portfolio. Regular site visits, customer meetings and trade show attendance form the core activities in this consultative, technically focused role.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B technical field sales experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience selling valves, pumps, compressors, or rotating equipment.
• Confident communicating with engineers, plant managers and other technical decision-makers.
• Structured approach to sales, including CRM management, pipeline development and consultative selling.
• New business mindset to develop a territory and build long-term relationships.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across the south of the UK with regular travel to larger projects.
• Conduct site visits and meetings with engineers, plant managers and procurement professionals.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads and close opportunities.
• Develop and manage an existing customer portfolio with long-standing accounts.
