Job summary

Wessex Water is seeking an electrically qualified technician with industrial experience to maintain a diverse range of plant machinery and equipment at multiple sites in the South West. Overtime, standby payments, and performance-based increases are offered, along with ongoing training to develop your skills.

You will attend breakdowns at sewage pumping stations, diagnose electrical/control faults, and implement corrective actions while identifying improvements to save money and improve

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification and industrial experience are preferred.
• Ability to fault-find, diagnose and repair electrical/control faults.
• Experience with relay and ladder logic is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Attend breakdowns across sites, diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
• Identify improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency and safety.
