South East Water is seeking an electrically qualified engineer to maintain, repair and install electrical systems across pumping stations, reservoirs and treatment works. You will oversee contractors, manage safety and documentation, and provide standby support to keep water flowing.

The role requires industrial experience, a valid UK driving licence, and strong fault-finding skills. It offers a meaningful, essential service with a focus on reliability and community impact.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified to at least a Level 3 NVQ Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial, commercial or domestic settings.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• IT literacy to update digital records and reports.
• Valid UK manual driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, repair and install electrical plant and water treatment equipment (control panels, pumps, motors, dosing equipment).
• Liaise with, supervise, and work with external contractors on-site.
• Assist Production team with specialised tasks including Confined Space Entries.
• Issue Permits to Work and follow Health & Safety SOPs.
• Update site operating manuals, monitor site security and assist with capital works.
• Maintain accurate records in work management systems and daily administration.
