Job summary

Curo Group in Bath is seeking a Part-Time Independent Living Scheme Manager for Meadow Court and Minerva Court. You will manage two older-person schemes, ensure safety, coordinate activity, and support residents with their wellbeing.

You're required to work 30 hours per week at site, with flexible patterns and no evenings or weekends. A UK driving licence is needed to visit both schemes and liaise with partners and services.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people one-to-one in care settings
• Experience completing risk assessments and support plans
• Clear written and spoken communication with customers and partner agencies
• Organised, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
• Good digital skills and a careful approach to records and confidentiality
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular alarm tests, equipment tests and safety checks across both schemes
• Help customers understand fire safety in their homes and shared spaces, including personal evacuation plans
• Respond to emergencies, calling on colleagues and partner services when needed
• Get to know customers, agree goals to support wellbeing and independence and refer to specialist help
• Be the first point of contact for concerns and complaints and follow through to a resolution
• Help customers set up social activities and groups that bring people together
• Work with local health, care and community services and raise safeguarding concerns through the right channels
